Spring Equinox: Luftwerk x Perrier Concert Series with Owen Clayton Condon & An Evening with Xavier Le Roy, presented by Goethe-Institut Chicago

Luftwerk and Perrier invite you to a series of concerts throughout 2016 featuring longtime Luftwerk collaborator, musician and composer Owen Clayton Condon. For this live performance, Condon will create and play an original composition in the Palm House, using plant materials from the Conservatory. Condon will perform live coinciding with the ongoing ‘Wednesday Evening Activations,’ which showcases the illumination of the exhibition. This series is free and open to the public, sponsored in part by Perrier.
As a special addition to the evening, the Goethe-Institut Chicago presents an evening with Xavier Le Roy, a French molecular biologist turned choreographer and performer who will discuss his views on the intersections of performance, science, and sustainability, as well as the recently coined “Anthropocene”— a proposed epoch that begins when human activities started to have a significant global impact on Earth's ecosystems.
